River Hideaway is centrally located. We are within a 100 mile radius of
26 million people. Located just 90 miles from NYC, NRH offers the best
of both worlds, convenient access to major metropolitan areas, and a
relaxed rural lifestyle. NRH
is a gated community of 39 homesites. The
average homesite is 6 acres. NRH
consists of beautiful woods, hills,
streams, wildlife, privacy and our main attraction the Neversink River.
The Neversink River (also called Neversink Creek in it upper course) is
a tributary of the Delaware River and is approximately 65 miles long.
The name of the river comes from an Algonquian Indian language phrase
meaning "mad river".
